Two years ago we brought to market the first production copper clad LED mounting board made specifically for the Luxeon Rebel LED.  We called that product the Rebel Square.  That board employed copper FR4 technology for a superior mount and unsurpassed heating sinking transfer capability.  However, it was just a mounting board, nothing more.

This year, we have taken that foundational concept of the copper clad FR4 board and expanded it's role to include full heat sinking capability.   By using the whole board with heavy copper plating we handle all the cooling needs but with less weight and expense over aluminum composite assemblies.

Introducing the Rebel Board 48 and the All-In-One Sampler Board.  These products accept Luxeon Rebels or Edison Opt Federal LEDs.  They feature embedded drivers, on-board LED modulation for manual dimming control, and thermal control and cooling capabilities.

Applications for the Rebel Board 48 include aquarium lighting, over-head office/warehouse lighting, outdoor signage, Plexiglases light tables/walls, video/photography light panels, and machine vision applications that require high lumen input.

The All-In-One is a great product for very simple lighting tasks or for just demonstrating the power and versatility and virtue of solid state LED lighting.   This is the first hand-held design that brings a simple and practical product to a broad market at a very low cost.
